Blanda is a Swiss, contemporary artist living and working between New York and Los Angeles. In 2007 Blanda moved to New York to enroll in the School of Visual Arts (SVA) where she received the Silas H. Rhodes scholarship. Her style, a mélange of collage, printmaking, drawing and painting, drew the attention of her professors and after graduating 2010, she was snapped up by The New York Times for a coveted Art Director position. Since her move to LA in 2014 she has been focused on her studio work, exhibitions and art-driven brand collaborations.
International brands including Montblanc, AG Jeans, Missoni, Uniqlo, Hanro, Kiehl’s, Volvo and Gucci Beauty, TopShop and Soho House have commissioned her art for collaborative projects and media outlets such as Vogue, New York Magazine, Vice, WWD, Glamour Magazine, Elle and Rolling Stone have covered her work.
